Eighth Suspect Arrested Following Germantown No-Knock Search Warrant Last Month

An eighth defendant has been arrested in connection to a no-knock search warrant in Germantown last month, authorities say.

Deshawn Nelson, 18, was arrested following a successful raid on a Germantown residence, Montgomery County police announced.

Seven other suspects were arrested from the home at 19753 Crystal Rock Drive on Wednesday, June 22, according to officials. The home was a known haven of guns and drugs, police said.

Nelson was captured on an Instagram live video holding multiple guns and pointing them at the camera, but left the home before the warrant was executed.

Nelson faces several firearms-related charges and has been ordered to be held without bond.
